The Fixed Asset Accountant will play a significant role in the processing and delivery of financial information to internal stakeholders. You will be responsible for receipting large quantities of inventory maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register and fixed assets reporting. This role will also see you assist the team with any ad-hoc work.
Your Key Accountabilities
- Timely processing of vendor invoices and receipting of inventory including FX transactions
- Management of Fixed Asset Register including asset capitalization
- Monthly Inventory and other balance sheet reconciliations
- Month end journals
- Assisting in external audit engagements
- Ad-hoc queries on Inventory Fixed & Intangible assets
- Assisting other finance team members if required
Qualifications :
- Degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- Proven experience in financial accounting specifically in Asset Management
- Experience with computerised accounting systems SAP D365 and Concur is advantageous
- Experience in processing foreign currency transactions
- Excellent interpersonal skills adaptability and capacity to build positive relationships
- Analytical skills and ability to solve problems
- Good oral and written communication skills
