As a Hospitality Chef you will:
- Contribute to operational activities such as menu planning estimating food requirements preparing requisitions sourcing suppliers and supporting food preparation to ensure consistency in quality presentation and customer satisfaction.
- Lead the monitoring and auditing of stock levels and order supplies in adherence with processes.
- Undertake cleaning sanitation and basic maintenance of equipment and regular upkeep of area to ensure that operational equipment is available and working.
- Assist in providing relevant information to support reporting including income tracking forecasting targets and outcomes where required.
To be successful youll have:
- Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
- Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
- Completion of a Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant experience as a Technician; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience in managing catering inventory and budgets.
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Current Certificate in food handling.
Special Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to work outside business hours.
- This position is a flexible ordinary hours span position which offers additional loadings to salary as per clause 43.3 of Deakins Enterprise Agreement.
- This position requires the incumbent to hold a current Working with Children Check.
