Acuity is seeking a Communication Assistant to support in various administrative tasks such as press release tracking filing and organizing electronic data. This role includes coordinating printing and mailing of numerous documents in a fast-paced environment. The Communication Assistant will also contribute to the layout and design of advertisements newsletters and various other communication pieces.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Edit and proofread Acuitys various communication pieces across all media platforms ensuring high quality professional content and design.
- Assist with outsourced forms inventories and
- Create and format documents utilizing various
- Work with others to develop best solutions and accomplish
- Carry out quality customer interaction and
- Exhibit a can do attitude and proactive
- Help coordinate creation and distribution of company communication
- Complete basic graphics art design and video
- Provide project support to others in the
- Perform tasks associated with company-sponsored events and
- Monitor communications department email accounts providing proper timely response to inquiries.
- Regular and predictable
- Perform other duties as
EDUCATION:
Associate degree (preferred) or equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
Communications-related experience involving writing editing design and administrative support.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent verbal editing writing and communication
- Proficiency in Photoshop InDesign and Premiere software or related software with a willingness to learn Adobe products.
- Ability to coordinate mailings events and outsourced
- Capable of working independently multitasking and meeting time-sensitive
- Basic photography
