Environmental Health and Safety Manager

By directing the subordinate employees belonging to the organizational unit:

• Keeps records of relevant legal and other requirements related to environmental protection safety and health protection (parent company official authority etc.) and monitor their changes. Where justified an introduction should be proposed for the issue.
• Ensures compliance with the relevant legal and other (parent company official authority etc.) requirements related to environmental protection safety and health protection. Where justified they shall regulate requirements through internal procedures.
• Ensures that the Environmental Management System and the Occupational Safety and Health management comply with the requirements of the relevant international standards.
• Regularly reports on the performance of the Environmental Management System and the Occupational Safety and Health management system including environmental protection safety and health.
• Maintains relations with environmental occupational and health authorities and service providers; makes the necessary official notifications
• organizes consultations with the ESH Committee represents the employer in the meetings of the ESH Committee in consultation with the Commission.
• Manages waste management activities.
• Responsible for developing and maintaining environmental occupational safety and health education.
• Professionally supports the lifting machinery clerk.
  

• Certified Occupational Safety Engineer
• Minimum 2 years leadership experience
• Knowledge in the technical fundamentals of safety management and risk assessments and reduction including machinery & process safety industrial hygiene loss prevention ergonomics and occupational health.
• Minimum 5 years of Environment Health & Safety experience in manufacturing and/or a distribution center with a high-performance safety culture
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing/continuous improvement processes
• Effective communication in English verbally and in writing
• At least secondary school qualification in environmental specialization
