11The Team:
The Americas Lead Oil Strategic Engagement & Intelligence Group role is part of the 20 member Strategic Engagement & Intelligence Group a part of Platts cross-commodity Market Development & Engagement Group (MD&E). The Americas leader for oil market engagement will be responsible for leading development of engagement plans as well as ensuring execution of regional engagement activities for oil in the Americas. The Americas oil Lead will be tasked with leading external engagement meetings in support of Platts commodity pricing. The role will also support the gathering of market intelligence and development of new assessments and market coverage in the region. The successful candidate will also represent Platts at key meetings in the region and working on special projects as needed by the commodity pricing teams and in collaboration with other MD&E teams.
The Impact:
The Americas oil SEIG lead will be a critical role to elevate Platts visibility in the Americas oil markets as well as to help drive further market and methodology development globally and to educate markets on the importance and relevance of physical benchmarks. The role also ensures regular outreach to key market participants who are prioritized each year in our engagement benchmark scorecards.

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $95000 to $120000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation this role is eligible for an annual incentive role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
