Job Summary

Job Responsibilities

Under general supervision from the assistant division director supervise and support the SCDC frame shop operations employees & Inmates to include hiring training & performance issues.
Responsible for all production & sales related to operations while adhering to the SCDC mission.
Ensure work environment is safe secure & adequate supplies are available.
Oversee showroom by maintaining adequate inventories appropriate displays & interaction with customers.
Enter data into SCEIS/mainframe accurately & timely related to the employment of inmate workers.
Provide administrative & sales support to the sales team/operational staff.
Assist with market research initiatives& coordinate product catalogs.
Assist & resolve customer issues/complaints promptly & professionally.

Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

The State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and relevant experience in business management public administration or administrative services. A bachelors degree may be substituted for required work experience.

SCDC Minimum Requirements:
(Or an acceptable equivalency as approved by the Division of State Human Resources).
