Role Purpose
Provide dedicated support to the Director of Finance New Hotel Openings SEAK & JAPAC through administrative tasks strategic projects and monitoring pre-opening progress to ensure successful hotel openings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director of Finance with administrative projects and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate and manage meeting schedules with General Managers and Directors of Finance; document minutes and follow-up actions.
- Create and maintain dashboards for pre-opening hotels to track progress and critical information.
- Prepare pre-opening budgets and collaborate with hotel teams on monthly budget execution.
- Support Accounts Receivable collection processes.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at streamlining finance pre-opening processes enhancing tools and ensuring compliance.
- Drive alignment with internal stakeholders to achieve objectives.
- Identify and support process improvement opportunities across systems controls and procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
- Preferably pursuing an undergraduate degree in Accountancy Business Management or Hospitality Management.
- Final-year students will be given preference.
Experience:
- Prior internship experience in hotel management accounting or real estate advisory firms is advantageous.
Technical Skills & Attributes:
- Strong desire to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- Detail-oriented proactive and able to work independently.
- Creative problem-solving and idea generation skills.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word.
- Team player with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
