Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer:

Candidate Location: Poland
Working Time Zone: CET

Start:

Planned Work Duration: 12 months

A leading global consulting client working with major organizations worldwide across various industries.

The client provides a broad range of services and supports enterprise-scale digital and analytical transformations.

Project Description:

You will work with an internal team focused on GenAI-related initiatives.

The team is distributed across multiple global locations.

Technology Stack: Python SQL ETL tools BI tools

Project Phase: ongoing

Hard Skills / Must Have:

Experience with cloud infrastructure such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud

Experience with container technologies like Docker / Kubernetes

Experience building data pipelines and workflows including exception handling

Experience working with large datasets in CSV JSON Avro Parquet formats

Hands-on programming experience with Python Shell Java or similar languages; familiarity with R Scala JavaScript is a plus

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases ETL tools and BI platforms (Tableau Power BI

Solid understanding of REST APIs data modeling warehousing lakes and big-data concepts

Understanding of SDLC and tools such as JIRA Git-Hub

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field

5 years of experience in BI application development database development ETL and/or data analysis with strong SQL knowledge

Hard Skills / Nice to Have (Optional):

Experience with advanced analytics or AI-driven data transformations

Exposure to building data models for analytical platforms

Responsibilities and Tasks:

Develop and maintain data pipelines ingestion transformation and integration processes

Work on visualizing and sharing data output to support analytical insights

Transform raw data into accurate and structured data models or marts

Perform ad-hoc and advanced analytics tasks including novel data exploration

Collaborate with product and engineering teams on requirements and asset definitions within an agile framework

Drive innovation and contribute to impactful AI solutions within the organization
