The successful Year 3 Teacher will plan and deliver coherent knowledge-rich sequences that build pupils fluency in reading writing and mathematics. Responsibilities
- Plan and teach sequenced Year 3 lessons that develop subject knowledge and application.
- Use assessment to identify gaps and implement timely small-group work and interventions.
- Work closely with TAs to scaffold learning and support diverse needs across Year 3.
- Communicate progress and next steps clearly to families and contribute to reporting.
- Participate in moderation curriculum planning and whole-school improvement activity in Oxford.
Person specification
- Qualified teacher with recent successful Year 3 or KS2 experience.
- Strong subject knowledge in English and maths and evidence of impact in Year 3.
- Excellent classroom practice organisational skills and a reflective approach.
- Committed to collaborative working and to the school community in Oxford.
- Available to start January 2026 and to attend induction before January 2026.
