Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Administrator to support the effective delivery of the Journeyperson Financial Incentive Program. The successful candidate will handle application processing eligibility verification stakeholder communication and ensure smooth program operations aligned with government standards and timelines.
Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Review process and validate program applications for completeness and eligibility.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date applicant records across internal systems.
- Communicate with journeypersons training providers and key stakeholders regarding program requirements documentation and application status.
- Support workflows related to financial incentive validation approval and reporting.
- Prepare reports metrics summaries and other documentation for management review.
- Assist in developing and updating program guidelines resources and FAQs.
- Ensure compliance with government policies procedures and privacy legislation.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the program team.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration Office Administration Public Administration or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in administrative or program support roles (experience in government education or workforce development considered an asset).
- Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry and documentation management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and experience with database systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within provincial or federal government programs.
- Familiarity with skilled trades apprenticeship programs or related processes.
- Understanding of financial incentive grant processing or program administration workflows.
