Job Summary

Role: SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer File Access Manager.

Location: Toronto Canada (Onsite).

Duration: Long Term Contract.

About the Role:

The organization is seeking a seasoned SailPoint IdentityIQ Engineer with deep expertise in File Access Manager (FAM) to design implement and support enterprise-scale identity and file access governance solutions. This role combines hands-on engineering architecture and escalation support working closely with security infrastructure and business stakeholders in a complex global environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design engineer deploy and support SailPoint File Access Manager as part of the broader Provisioning & Identity Management platform.
Onboard new systems and applications to the SailPoint FAM platform in partnership with business integration and internal technology teams.
Partner with Governance Risk HR and Enterprise Technology teams to define FAM strategy standards and technical roadmaps.
Translate business application and security requirements into scalable technical designs and enterprise architecture for FAM and related IAM services.
Act as the subject matter expert for SailPoint FAM advising application owners on integration best practices patterns and standardization.
Lead the successful execution of engineering projects in close collaboration with operations information security architecture and project management teams.
Serve as L3 escalation point for FAM IAM services performing in-depth investigation and troubleshooting where L1/L2 cannot resolve.
Coordinate with vendors to resolve complex application software and hardware issues in a timely manner.
Create and maintain technical documentation including installation configuration runbooks and troubleshooting guides for FAM and related components.
Develop support documentation and deliver knowledge transfer/training to operations and support teams.
Oversee and review work from external consultants including design and code reviews ensuring knowledge retention internally.
Identify opportunities to automate and improve processes across the FAM/IAM engineering and operations landscape.

Technical & Professional Qualifications:

5 years of hands-on implementation administration configuration and support experience with SailPoint File Access Manager.
10 years of technical experience implementing and supporting enterprise IAM solutions in large global environments.
Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management rules events and provisioning workflows within SailPoint/FAM.
Solid knowledge of IAM standards and protocols: SAML OpenID Connect OAuth LDAP Kerberos.
Strong programming and scripting skills in several of the following: Java BeanShell JSP/Servlets Perl Unix shell scripts Batch PowerShell VBScript SQL/PL-SQL Python.
Experience across multiple operating systems (UNIX Linux Windows AIX).

Hands-On Integration Experience With:

Web technologies: Web Services REST APIs Tomcat/JBoss JSON.
Databases: Oracle SQL Server.
SSO MFA SCIM Federation.
Directory services: Active Directory LDAP virtual directories.
Automation/scripting experience for IAM and infrastructure tasks.
Working knowledge of virtualization (VMware Hyper-V) and networking concepts (LAN/WAN Firewalls VPN) as well as monitoring and support practices.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements related to identity access and audit.
Strong communication coordination and stakeholder management skills; ability to explain complex technical topics in business-friendly language.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related discipline.
