Youll collaborate with sales delivery and product teams to conceptualize design and present cutting-edge rail solutions to customers across North America.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being at the intersection of technology and customer engagement and turning challenges into actionable solutions that drive real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with customers and internal stakeholders to define requirements and craft end-to-end rail engineering solutions.
Lead pre-sales and solutioning activities including RFP/RFI responses technical presentations and proof-of-concept development.
Apply expertise in machine vision optical inspection and mechanical systems to design next-gen detection and analytics platforms.
Work with cross-functional teams (mechanical automation software AI/ML) to develop integrated field-ready solutions.
Conduct feasibility studies prototype validation and performance testing.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business-aligned value propositions for clients.
Stay ahead of emerging trends in rail technology automation and vision analytics.

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
5 10 years of experience in solutions engineering design or technical pre-sales ideally within rail industrial automation or transportation domains.
Strong foundation in mechanical systems design and integration.
Experience working with railway rolling stock track inspection or safety systems.
Hands-on experience with machine vision platforms
Excellent communication and storytelling skills able to connect technical depth with business impact.
Creative problem-solver with a passion for innovation and customer success.

Nice to Have:

Exposure to predictive maintenance digital twin or inspection automation.
Familiarity with AI/ML image analytics or computer vision frameworks.
