Responsibilities:

* Develop and execute sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials components and services aligning with GE Medical Systems Egypts manufacturing and business objectives.

* Identify evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers conducting thorough due diligence including financial analysis quality audits and capability assessments.

* Negotiate favorable terms conditions and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings and optimize total cost of ownership.

* Manage supplier relationships monitoring performance against key metrics such as delivery quality and cost and implementing corrective actions as needed.

* Collaborate closely with engineering production quality and R&D teams to understand material requirements specifications and new product development needs.

* Monitor market trends raw material prices and supply chain risks to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate potential disruptions.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant GE Medical Systems policies procedures and regulatory requirements related to sourcing and procurement.

* Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives in the supply chain and sourcing processes.

* Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities cost savings supplier performance and market insights to management.

Qualifications:

* Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration Engineering or a related field.

* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in material sourcing procurement or supply chain management preferably within the medical device automotive or aerospace industries.

* Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation cost reduction and supplier relationship management.

* Strong understanding of supply chain principles logistics and inventory management.

* Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.

* Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

* Exceptional communication interpersonal and negotiation skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken) is required.
