Test Engineering provides technical expertise to numerousmanufacturing and development programs within Raytheon. Our work involves electronic hardware for close in weapons systems. The manufacturing operations is located in Louisville KY

Primary responsibilities include supporting test andtroubleshooting of complex weapon systems such as RF IF Analog or Digitalhardware sub-assemblies. This position requires close cooperation with the Operationsteam and other engineering disciplines including ProductDesign Test Development and Manufacturing Engineering working in a PRISM/SAP based manufacturing desired candidate will possess superb communication skills and becapable of working in a dynamic team environment. Extensive job training is provided.

What You Will Do

Interpreting test requirements developing and maintaining test procedures and documenting testpractices
Analyzing data to drive issues to root cause
Generating Change Requests (CRs) on technicalissues relating to the production test process
Supporting test development projects
Support improvement projects toincrease first pass yield
Engagement with Program Quality and Design teamsto solve issues impacting production
Ensuring hardware requirements are met andprocesses are followed
Assisting production test engineers and manufacturing operators in the testing &troubleshooting of production hardware
Supporting functional test platforms
Ability to travel as required

Qualifications You Must Have

Typically Requires a Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Math (STEM) and minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Experience with technical writing
Experience with MRP systems
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer

Bachelor of Science in Electrical EngineeringElectrical Engineering Technology or related engineering degree
Masters in Electrical Engineering and 3 years of relevant experience
Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel PowerPoint Project Word OneNote)
RF IF Analog or Digitaltroubleshooting skills
Labview/LabWindows
Test equipment knowledge/familiarity with Tektronix and Keysight instruments
Use of oscilloscopes or spectrum analyzers for testing/troubleshooting
A continuous improvement mindset to enhancemanufacturing test methods through processmodernization
Demonstrated success working in a fast-pacedmanufacturing environment
Active SECRET clearance

The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
