We are seeking an Electrical Designer who is detailoriented collaborative and motivated to grow. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working within multidisciplinary teams takes pride in producing accurate and coordinated drawings and is eager to develop their technical skills in electrical system design.
YOUR ROLE AT CNG
As an Electrical Designer you will support the electrical engineering team in developing power and lighting systems from concept through construction. Youll collaborate closely with engineers and project teams contribute to coordinated designs and help ensure projects are delivered with accuracy efficiency and technical excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Support Technical Design
  • Assist in the design of branch circuit distribution systems for power and lighting in commercial and institutional facilities.
  • Support the development of overall building and site power distribution systems.
  • Perform electrical calculations and prepare documentation to support engineering decisions.
Collaborate Across Disciplines
  • Participate in internal and external design coordination meetings.
  • Work closely with engineers designers and project teams to deliver coordinated highquality drawings and models.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and project partners.
Deliver with Accuracy & Accountability
  • Assist with construction administration tasks including reviewing submittals responding to RFIs and supporting field observations.
  • Participate in site visits to evaluate installations and verify design intent.
  • Plan schedule and coordinate assigned tasks while maintaining quality standards and meeting deadlines.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Teamoriented adaptable and proactive in supporting project needs
  • Ability to manage deadlines and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience supporting positive client or team relationships
TECHNOLOGY & SOFTWARE
  • Advanced knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Teams Excel Word Outlook PowerPoint)
EXPERIENCE
  • Experience in electrical design with an architectural or MEP firm (preferred within the last 3 years)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Valid drivers license with an insurable driving record required for site visits and field work
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test consistent with applicable law and company policy
