Technician-Electrical Control
About the role
We are looking for 2XTechnician(s)-Electrical Control to carry out engineering assignments relating to process control. Assisting engineers on larger complex assignments or works independently on less complex assignments impacting multiple sectors of site.
This role is an opportunity for a highly motivated individual who Applies practical and non-theoretical knowledge of products techniques and processes gained by on-the-job experience and technical qualification. Reporting to Superintendent Tailings Technician you will be responsible for:

Kennecotts tailing storage facility (TSF) is composed of two adjoining impoundments the active North Impoundment and the South Impoundment that has been inactive since 2002. This facility is near the town of Magna about 10 miles west of Salt Lake City Utah. Together the impoundments cover approximately 9200 acres. The North Impoundment is permitted to be constructed to El. 4500 ft.
This position will have an office at the Tailings Administration Building and your work area will include the North and South Impoundment as well as provide support to all surveying activities for South Area Water Service (SAWS).
