What you will be doing in this role

As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) working in a rehab department at Sydney Adventist Hospital you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their recovery journey. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse you will provide safe and compassionate person-centred care aligned with each patients individual care plan. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities mobility support and therapeutic exercises designed to promote independence and improve function during rehabilitation.

In addition to hands-on care you will contribute to the accurate collection of healthcare information and ensure that patient documentation is kept up to date in accordance with hospital policies. Your attention to detail empathy and commitment to teamwork will help ensure high-quality care and a positive patient experience in a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Who were looking for

  • Youll hold a Certificate III in Health Services Assistanceand are a career AIN
  • Youll have the availability to work consistent 30 hours per week Mon - Fri for morning shifts
  • Youll bring experience in providing direct care ideally within a hospital aged care or rehabilitation setting.
  • Youll demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills a compassionate approach and a commitment to teamwork.
  • Youll have an interest in nursing best practice with an understanding of policies to ensure confidentiality dignity respect and the rights of patients are upheld.
  • Youll have unrestricted Australian working rights to work 30 hours per week.
