CK Group are recruiting for a Facilities/Maintenance Manager to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Huntingdon (Cambridgeshire) on a permanent basis. This role will be fully onsite.
The Company:Our client provides resources to the pre-clinical research market. They have contributed to the development of life-saving therapies and treatments for humans and animals.
The Role:- Ensuring the smooth and efficient maintenance operation of our clients facilities and site as a whole.
- Responsible for the management of site projects such as refurberation including developing and presenting projects to senior management for approval including requesting tenders from outside contractors.
- Responsible for managing outside contractors working on site.
Other Responsibilities:- Embed a safety first culture and develop the team to deliver the highest standards and promote a positive Health & Safety culture.
- Ensure that all equipment and systems are in optimal working condition
- Keep up to date PPM Schedule of works
- Monitor planned maintenance and breakdown activities logging any delays and escalating issues to the Site Manager
Your Background:- Proven experience in maintenance management preferably in Laboratory or Hospital building services or facilities management.
- Knowledge of building/or systems projects buildings and liase with contractors as required.
- Self starter with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
