Who are we
TRACQS is a leadingCommunity Development Program(CDP) provider that delivers quality pre and post-employment and training services to both Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians across the Western Tablelands of Far North Queensland.
We acknowledge and embrace the diversity the region provides with its major labour markets ranging from harvest trails to tourism. Along with cultural considerations this diversity requires a multi-faceted team approach to ensure that employment and business opportunities are identified and created.

What will you be doing
As part of the TRACQS team you will engage with and empower individuals to achieve sustainable employment by:
- Undertaking quality assessments and using strength-based approaches with job seekers
- Identifying and addressing barriers to employment
- Developing a quality compliant and tailored job plan
- Supporting job seekers to engage in Community Projects activities and link to host organisations.
Who are you
Skills and experience we are looking for include:
- Previous experience in working with Job Seekers & Indigenous communities will be highly regarded
- Knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander protocol and culture.
- Current drivers licence.
- Technology literate including sound skills in using Windows-based software Internet and Email.
- Highly effective well-organised administration and record keeping skills
- Ability to manage time set priorities and achieve outcomes in a demanding environment
A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.
