About the role
This positionis responsible forthe effective implementation growth and development of the tennis coaching
programsat the Queensland Tennis Centre.The role willfocus on the development and growth of participation in core coaching programsincluding Hot Shots group lessons Development Squads Performance Adultlessonsand School groups.
The development of grassroots through to elite level coaching programs is essential for thelong-termparticipationobjectivesacross theregion.Ensuring our programming is of World Class standard and player development is linking directly with both state and national based programsis key.
In this role you will:
Set individual coach benchmarks in consultation with coaching staff.
Maintain standards of professionalism and excellence that reflect ahigh-performanceculture.
Plan coaching schedulesto maximise program occupancy across the program pathway.
Oversee and advise on developingappropriate trainingfor coaches to increase their skill base.
Lead and conduct internal programs to encourage ongoing participation and overall retention.
Produce regular detailed reports on the effectiveness and management of the coaching program.
About you
To be successful in this role you willhave:
Tennis Australia Coach Membership&Tennis Australia Club Professional Coach (essential)
Previousdelivery experience within Tennis Australia program pathway (preferred)
Proven experience working with all ages and abilities (e.g. pre-schoolers through to adults)
Experience in staff management and ensuringhigh levelsof customer service
Hold (or be willing to obtain) a currentPolice CheckandWorking with Children Check
Preparedness to be flexiblein regard toworking hours and arrangements relating to work associated with TennisQLD
