Job Description Summary

We are seeking a talented FP&A Analyst to join our Financial Services team with a focus on cash flow and balance sheet planning and analysis. This role is a critical contributor to the full FP&A cycleplanning forecasting operating reviews and financial close. You will collaborate closely with portfolio and underwriting teams GE Vernova HQ FP&A and Treasury and other functions across the broader FS finance team.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the forecasting reporting and analysis of both direct and indirect cash flow and the balance sheet for Financial Services.
  • Prepare short- and long-term forecasts identify risks and opportunities analyze variances and business trends and present insights to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Reconcile direct and indirect cash flow statements on a weekly monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Manage and track weekly cash pacing and support month- and quarter-end close activities.
  • Drive and support cross-functional process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Propose and implement solutions to streamline financial processes.
  • Engage and coordinate with multiple stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Support team flexibility by cross-training with peers and sharing knowledge across the finance team.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Prior FP&A experience strongly preferred.
  • Completion of Financial Management Program (FMP) is a plus.
  • Strong financial modeling skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to collaborate across functions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel Word and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with tools such as Hyperion Alteryx or Tableau is a strong advantage.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop actionable plans and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Effective multitasker with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
