Job Summary
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Transmission Line Technician to join our team in ensuring the reliable installation maintenance and repair of overhead power line systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in assembling and dismantling power lines and transmission towers installing key components such as conductors insulators and fittings and performing work at elevated heights using climbing gear and aerial lifts.
Responsibilities:
- Install maintain and repair overhead power line systems
- Assemble and dismantle power lines and transmission towers
- Install and secure conductors insulators and mechanical fittings
- Perform work at heights using climbing equipment and aerial lifts
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Transmission Line Technician
- Completion of a state-recognised vocational training program (minimum 2 years) or a higher qualification (Diploma or Bachelors degree in any field)
- B1 level proficiency in English
- Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and maintain high safety standards
