Your future role


Take on a new challenge and apply your programme commercial management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and driven teammates.
Youll play a pivotal role in managing a significant project in Cork optimising project margins while safeguarding against commercial risks and maintaining high standards in alignment with Alstom Policies and Procedures. Day-to-day youll work closely with teams across the business (Installation Construction and Design & Build) provide support to the Commercial Manager and Lead Project Manager and contribute to the successful delivery of a large-scale project and much more.

Well look to you for:

Applying your expertise in construction industry standard forms of contract and commercial terms.
Quantifying and costing construction works including task elemental cost analysis.
Demonstrating strong multi-discipline Design & Build (D&B) experience in a contractor environment.
Supporting conflict avoidance management and dispute resolution procedures.
Employing planning and programme management for construction works.
Understanding and applying accounting concepts including the preparation of management and company accounts.
Ensuring compliance with Health Safety and Sustainability standards in the industry.
Leveraging your professional qualification with a Quantity Surveying-related organisation (ideally chartered status).
Bringing experience from Rail Construction or Civil Engineering backgrounds.
Contributing to a collaborative and inclusive team environment that values leadership resilience adaptability and continuous learning.

Professional Qualification with Quantity Surveying related organisation.
Experience or understanding of Rail Construction or Civil Engineering projects particularly in managing large-scale multi-discipline Design & Build (D&B) projects.
Knowledge of construction industry standard forms of contract and commercial terms.
Familiarity with quantification costing of construction works and task elemental cost analysis.
Conflict avoidance management and dispute resolution procedures.
Planning and the use of programmes in the management of construction works.
Understanding of accounting concepts and the preparation of management and company accounts.
Awareness of Health Safety and Sustainability matters relevant to the construction industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
