An exciting position has become available to lead the team of nursing and support staff on Day Procedure Unit. The dynamic nurse who heads this team will possess highly developed skills to fulfil the criteria listed below.

Essential criteria
Minimum 5 years relevant experience
Current AHPRA Registration
Proven leadership and management experience in an acute clinical setting
Ability to lead inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team
Strong operational and resource management skills
Previous experience working in a day procedure unit or a high turnover surgical ward.
Problem solving and analytical skills
Organisation skills
Advanced communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Demonstrates ability to deliver quality patient care.
Desirable
Tertiary qualification or working towards in nursing or relevant specialty
Post-registration qualification in area of specialty
