The Healthy Homes Unit oversees operationalizing environmental hazard compliance efforts. The Office of Mold Assessment and Remediation is responsible for managing mold assessment and remediation contracts ventilation modernization contracts performance management providing quality assurance and technical assistance to support Public Housing Operations for mold remediation at the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). NYCHA is the nations largest public housing provider and is home to more than 400000 residents across New Yorks 5 boroughs.
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Administrator Program Manager and Regional Coordinators in the Mold Response Unit the Resident Communications Associate will be responsible for case-managing coordinating facilitating and communications mold and leak repairs efforts to the revised Baez Consent Decree partners such as the Ombudsperson Call Center (OCC) NYCHA Residents NYCHA Operations.
The responsibilities of the Resident Communications Associate will include but are not limited to the following:
communications tools such as phone Maximo Asset Management system to coordinate completion of mold and leak work order ticket.
effectively with NYCHA residents and NYCHAs Operations team to coordinate scheduling and facilitate repairs.
efforts and communications into Zendesk case tracking platform while answering OCCs inquiries.
efforts and communications into Zendesk case tracking platform for Healthy Start initiative.
and adjust programs for quality and effectiveness to meet the resident and Authority needs.
site visits as required.
other clerical support duties as assigned including general recordkeeping.
other related duties.
