Job Summary

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a dedicated Associate Attorney to manage legal matters from initial intake through post-judgment remedies in a fast-paced high-volume environment. This fully remote role is based in the Fairfax County Northern Virginia area with occasional in-person requirements for court appearances and on-site meetings. Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough legal research drafting and analysis to support case strategy and client representation.
Manage a high-volume caseload with precision ensuring timely and accurate execution of legal tasks.
Provide expert guidance on legal and regulatory risks leveraging case law and statutory interpretation.
Negotiate effectively with opposing counsel to achieve favourable case resolutions.
Travel as needed to various courts across Virginia for hearings trials and procedural matters.
Collaborate closely with the Managing Attorney to report on case activity outcomes and progress.

Requirements

Requirements:

03 years of experience in bankruptcy collections or civil litigation including active participation in court proceedings and familiarity with relevant regulations.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Additional licensure in GA SC TN FL MD MI OH or UBE passage is a strong advantage but not required.
Proven ability to analyze complex case law and deliver actionable legal recommendations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word Excel and Outlook.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a track record of clarity and professionalism.
Strong time management and organizational abilities to thrive in a demanding deadline-driven environment.
