Supervises trains and motivates Purchasing staff while ensuring proper completion and approval of all purchase order requests.
Works closely with the Executive Chef and F&B Director to purchase high-quality products at the lowest prices including negotiating food prices and ensuring prompt delivery.
Coordinates inventories capital project purchases and maintains strong supplier relationships including conducting supplier premise checks and surprise audits to ensure HACCP compliance.
Obtains competitive price quotations generates purchase orders with required authorization and provides the Financial Controller with monthly purchasing summaries.
Manages team functions including interviewing selecting developing team members conducting performance reviews and maintaining training programs.
Ensures safety quality sustainability and compliance by supporting Accor ALEART procedures monitoring departmental quality performance and participating in crisis management requirements.
Qualifications :
- Diploma education
- Minimum 3 years of purchasing experience with at least 1 year at a supervisory level
- Excellent reading writing and oral proficiency in English language
- Proficient in MS Excel Word & PowerPoint
- Good communication skills
- Service oriented with an eye for details
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
