As Director of Sales you will take ownership of revenue generation through proactive business development key account management strategic planning stakeholder collaboration and market positioning. You will play a crucial role in strengthening our presence within the Auckland market while leading high-value initiatives that maximise occupancy revenue and long-term commercial success.
Responsibilities Include:
- Developing leading and executing strategic sales plans aligned to market trends and business needs
- Managing a balanced portfolio of new business acquisition and existing account growth
- Driving corporate government MICE and leisure business to maximise revenue and occupancy
- Proactively analysing competitor activity market conditions and emerging opportunities
- Representing the property at industry events trade shows and networking functions
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients agencies partners and key stakeholders
- Collaborating closely with Marketing Revenue and Hotel Operations to optimise commercial outcomes
- Providing clear communication to internal and external stakeholders across all departments
- Delivering high-level reporting insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
Qualifications :
Successful applicants will require the following skills experience and qualifications:
- Proven sales leadership experience in hospitality tourism or a closely related industry
- Strong understanding of corporate government and MICE market segments
- Demonstrated ability to secure new business nurture key accounts and build long-term partnerships
