Summary: Responsible for finishing cured cove and carpet base by running it through a waterjet line cutting off the excess material by performing the following duties:


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Will need to read and understand a schedule while using a computer interface to record production
Will need to box label stack cartons on a pallet and enter production into SAP
Load material properly into machine to be cut before sending it down the line
Change over the line from either cove or carpet and the coordinating sizes.
Will need to be able to stand and lift 50-60 pounds throughout the shift
Preform quality checks including color variation contamination voids etc
Operators must rotate between the following three positions on the waterline; Infeed Line Op and Pack Out as well rotate on the cove presses
Overtime is/may be required.
Other duties as assigned.

General Tasks required of all associates
Operator must understand and follow 5S and good housekeeping in their respective areas
Must adhere to all safety policies within Mannington The Rubber Plant and specific to job being preformed
Operators will Clean their equipment throughout the shift and at shutdowns


Language Skills


Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers clients and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
