Plant WD Finishing Operator Shift 3Position Overview
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Responsible for operating the coater at top efficiency.
Essential Duties:
Operate the coater at top efficiency
Control the latex cup weight using the latex control screen to ensure proper application
Make sure the carpet is dry at the proper back temperature regulating oven zone temperatures as needed
Gap applicator roller weekly
Operate foam application using the foamer application panel
Control Mahlo settings to minimize bow and skew in pattern products
Ensure the carpet and backing are pinning correctly on the tenter chain
Monitor latex plows and puddle
Keep work area clean
Physical Requirements:
Frequently required to reach handle stand stoop and climb steps
Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise dirt humidity and temperature variations
