We are seeking a Certification Specialist to join our Support Center team in Mount Pleasant MI who is detail-oriented enjoys new challenges and thrives within a deadline driven schedule. Certification Specialists are responsible for agency reporting processing move-ins and recertifications sending out notices monitoring resident accounts and more. The ideal candidate is an organized problem solver with strong time management skills and a positive attitude. This position will require in-person work with the potential to transform into a hybrid work model.
You Have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Outlook
- 3 years of experience with low income housing specifically HUD Section 8 and/or LIHTC
- Familiarity with MSHDA COL software and tenant uploads
- Experience with Onesite Property management software or similar
- Demonstrated knowledge of HUD and LIHTC program regulations up to and including HOTMA
- Current Compliance certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
