About the role

As Product Assistant for Boots Brand & Exclusives Gift youll play a critical role in supporting the product team in the development and delivery of the Christmas Gifting Range in the UK. You will report to one of the Product Managers within the Team and provide administrative support across all team members. Youll be the key coordination point for all stakeholders and youll build strong relationships across the business and our retailer partner.

Youll coordinate the development and sharing of our brand assets such as product photography and will hold yourself and others to high execution standards. Youll monitor how our products show up in our stores and youll stay close to competitor activity both in store and online - capturing and sharing your insight with the product team on a regular basis.

Key responsibilities

Youll provide administrative support to the product team being the go-to coordinator for all things from samples to sales reports to travel and team building days! You will support on artworks and copy creation and be responsible for the coordination and development of our product photography assets working with the product manager to write briefs collate and organise product samples and be our eyes and ears out in the market sharing competitor reviews and trend reports.

Youll be accountable for ensuring each new product and vendor is set up correctly on our PIM (Product Information Management) system. You will work cross functionally with colleagues suppliers and our retailer to ensure item codes are generated and vendors are set up correctly keeping stakeholders engaged and updated along the way.

Youll manage our cost budget administration including raising and receipting POs tracking invoices and keeping the monthly tracker up to date.

If you have a keen interest in developing your career in product youll have countless opportunities to support on new product development project work such working with the product managers on writing briefs for the manufacturer or developing the packaging design through to artwork creation.

• Youll have a keen eye for detail ensuring high executional standards in everything you do

• Organisation is key youre good at managing your time and have confidence in juggling multiple tasks and workstreams to meet deadlines thriving on fast delivery

• You are articulate with strong communication skills both verbal and written

• Youll be a natural relationship builder with experience working closely with cross functional teams to achieve a common goal

• Youre competent using Microsoft office: excel outlook and word

• Youre confidently able to manage multiple stakeholders
