Job Summary

6-7 Months Contract with a Local Authority

Summary

This role involves providing high-quality care and support to adults with care and support needs. The position focuses on promoting independence dignity and choice while ensuring the safety and well-being of individuals. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those in their care.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with personal care tasks including dressing washing bathing and meals.
Support social interaction and maintain connections with family friends and the community.
Encourage participation in social and therapeutic activities to promote independence.
Complete domestic tasks related to daily routines and individual needs.
Maintain accurate records of incidents events and care plans.
Administer medication as instructed and update risk assessments.
Attend staff meetings supervision sessions and training.

Requirements

Experience in residential or community care settings.
Knowledge of health and safety and risk assessments in care environments.
Experience with care planning.
Commitment to undertake mandatory and vocational training.

Additional Information

Working hours: 37 hours per week
We have Bi-weekly payments
Enhanced DBS required.
