We are seeking a long-term substitute School Counselor to work at the Boutwell Early Childhood Center servicing Preschool and Kindergarten age students. The school counselor will be responsible to provide support for students with and without addition the school counselor will be responsible for the following:Provide individual and group counseling services for studentsCollaborate with classroom teachers to design and implement social and emotional lessons in the classroom settingDesign and deliver multi-tiered universal supports and interventionsDevelop individual student goals and benchmarks collect and analyze data prepare progress reports and attend team meetings for assigned caseloadParticipate in Student Support Team (SST) meetings to provide proactive strategies and supportsCollaborate and consult with school personnel including the Coordinator of Behavioral Health and Social Emotional Support and Family Engagement Specialist on topics related to social/emotional learning and mental health issuesProvide families and staff contact with outside providers and agencies to facilitate comprehensive approaches to student servicesAssist administrators and team members to implement School Wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Attend staff meetings professional development and other meetings as assigned by building principal
