The Opportunity & Role Profile
This welcoming primary school requires a dedicated and trustworthy Caretaker for a fixed-term contract (e.g. 6 months). The school needs a responsible professional to manage site security and upkeep during the afternoons focusing on ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for younger pupils.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
- Safety Sentinel: Conducting afternoon checks to ensure play areas and premises meet health and safety standards.
- Building Champion: Handling general light maintenance tasks including minor repairs painting and ensuring all fixtures are functional.
- Access Control: Overseeing the secure closure of the site in the evening and managing evening activities access.
