Job Summary
A friendly and well-run primary school in Bournemouth is seeking a reliable hardworking and proactive Caretaker to support the day-to-day maintenance safety and security of the school site. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a safe clean and welcoming environment for young pupils and staff.
The Role
You will be responsible for the general upkeep of the school premises working closely with the leadership team to ensure the site is safe and well maintained throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities include:
Carrying out routine health and safety checks and reporting any issues promptly
Completing basic repairs and maintenance tasks
Supporting opening and closing procedures and site security
Ensuring classrooms corridors and outdoor areas are clean safe and presentable
Assisting with deliveries room setups and school events
Supporting contractors and monitoring work carried out on site
