Job Summary

An Outstanding-rated secondary school in Bristol is seeking a creative skilled and enthusiastic Art Teacher to join their highly successful department on a full-time basis. The Role

You will teach Art across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and departmental need. The role focuses on delivering high-quality inspiring lessons that develop students technical ability creative thinking and confidence across a range of media and techniques.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering engaging Art lessons aligned with the curriculum

  • Teaching drawing painting mixed media and other creative processes

  • Assessing moderating and providing feedback on coursework and projects

  • Encouraging originality experimentation and independent artistic practice

  • Maintaining high standards of behaviour presentation and engagement

  • Contributing to departmental planning displays and enrichment activities
