To support this growth we are looking for a Working Student (f/m/x) Engineering to join our development teams. As a Working Student (f/m/x) Engineering you will actively support the development of our next-generation prototype nu2. This role gives you the chance to apply your early engineering skills in a highly practical environment and directly contribute to a key R&D milestone.
Tasks
- Support the assembly of prototype components
Assist in building the new R&D prototype nu2 by assembling sub-assemblies and mechanical parts under guidance from experienced engineers. - Help document the assembly process
Contribute to creating clear and simple work instructions based on the steps you carry out helping ensure processes can be repeated reliably. - Prepare mechanical drawings (incl. basic GD&T)
Create or update mechanical detailed drawings with support from the engineering team applying your initial knowledge of GD&T. - Record issues during assembly
Note down challenges or questions that arise during assembly work and share them with the team for troubleshooting and improvement.Provide improvement suggestions
Bring in your observations and fresh perspective to suggest small practical improvements for better assembly workflows or design usability.
Requirements
- You are currently enrolled as a student in Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering or a related technical field and are eager to apply your coursework in real projects.
- You use your initial design experience to create or adapt technical drawings and approach design tasks with accuracy and structured thinking.
- You feel comfortable working hands-on with mechanical assemblies and enjoy learning through practical build activities.
- You communicate clearly in English and you are able to understand or communicate technical information in German.
- You actively seek guidance when needed and approach new tasks with curiosity and a willingness to learn.
- You share issues or observations openly and collaborate with engineers to improve assembly workflows or design aspects.
