Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant to join our team as a Lead Specialist this role you will be responsible for leading and implementing comprehensive security strategies ensuring the organizations systems and data are protected against internal and external threats. You will work closely with IT teams business units and leadership to assess risks develop security solutions and maintain compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead security assessments audits and vulnerability analyses across systems networks and applications.
Design implement and manage security controls and frameworks aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Provide expert guidance on security architecture policies and best practices.
Collaborate with IT and business teams to identify risks recommend mitigations and ensure security compliance.
Monitor and respond to security incidents performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
Conduct security awareness training and mentor junior security staff.
Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats trends and technologies and advise leadership on their implications.

Required Qualifications:

12 years of experience in IT security with a focus on consulting architecture or engineering.
Strong knowledge of security frameworks standards and compliance requirements (e.g. NIST ISO 27001 CIS).
Hands-on experience with network security cloud security endpoint protection and identity management.
Proven experience in vulnerability assessment risk management and incident response.
Excellent communication and leadership skills capable of guiding teams and interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CISA are highly desirable.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with security tools like SIEM firewalls IDS/IPS and endpoint security solutions.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or Google Cloud) and their security best practices.
Ability to translate complex security concepts into actionable business solutions.
