Are you a creative detail-oriented individual with a passion for design and visual storytelling The RMI Brand & Communications Team is looking for an intern to assist in bringing our brand and communications initiatives to life. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in graphic design presentation creation and promotional campaigns while contributing to initiatives that strengthen RMIs brand.
This position is based in Midrand.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Graphic Design
Assist with the design and layout of marketing collateral including invitations mailers (via Everlytic) banners promotional items gifts and corporate clothing.
Ensure all designs are aligned with RMIs corporate identity and branding guidelines.
Provide creative input for promotional campaigns and events.
2. PowerPoint Design & Support
Create professional visually compelling presentations.
Translate meeting notes concepts and raw content into polished slides.
Support advanced PowerPoint functions including graph/chart design infographics and animations.
Help bring strategic concepts to life through impactful visual storytelling.
3. Social Media Management & Content Creation
Assist in managing RMIs social media presence on Facebook LinkedIn and Twitter (X).
Support the creation of engaging content (graphics copy short videos etc.) tailored to each platform.
Explore and support the rollout of RMI content on new platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
Monitor engagement and contribute creative ideas to grow RMIs digital presence.
Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to design engaging professional presentations.
Familiarity with social media platforms and content trends.
Creative thinker with excellent attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Must be based in Midrand or surrounding areas and able to work in a hybrid setup.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requirements:
Currently studying or recently completed a qualification in Graphic Design Communications Marketing or a related field.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign) or equivalent design tools.
Minimum Experience:
Six months experience is acceptable.
