Reports to Adam Streeter/Penny StreeterAbout the RoleWere seeking a highly organised and proactive Events and Logistics Intern to join our team supporting Leonardslee Gardens and Wine Estate in West Sussex England. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the dynamic world of luxury event management and MICE operations for a prestigious UK venue while working remotely from our Cape Town this role youll be at the heart of our event operations learning every aspect of what it takes to deliver exceptional experiences for weddings corporate events and hospitality functions. Youll work closely with our experienced team to manage the essential back-office work that makes successful events ResponsibilitiesSupplier Management & Logistics
Source and negotiate with event suppliers and service providers
Build and maintain relationships with vendors
Compare quotes and manage supplier contracts
Coordinate delivery schedules and logisticsAdministrative Excellence
Manage event documentation and filing systems
Update booking systems and maintain accurate records
Process invoices and track event budgets
Prepare briefing documents and event schedulesMarketing & Content
Update listings on wedding and event directories
Write compelling copy for venue spaces and packages
Brief social media team on upcoming events and content opportunities
Maintain and update promotional materialsEvent Coordination Support
Assist with event planning and execution
Coordinate between internal teams and external suppliers
Manage event timelines and checklists
