Job Summary
Director of Finance Full-Service Hotel
Location: Greater Chicago Area
Reports To: Managing Director
Team Size: 34 Accounting/Finance Staff
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Finance to lead the financial operations of a full-service hotel. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality accounting and a proven ability to manage a team in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting forecasting and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with hotel brand standards and local regulations.
- Manage and mentor a team of 34 accounting/finance professionals.
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize financial performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in hotel accounting preferably in a full-service environment.
- Systems: Familiarity with M3 and/or ProfitSword is highly preferred.
- Education: 4-year college degree in Accounting Finance or related field (ideal).
- Certification: CHAE preferred but not required.
- Brand Experience: Background with major brands such as Westin Marriott Starwood Hyatt or similar.
- Strong analytical leadership and communication skills.
Location Requirement: Candidates should reside in or near the Greater Chicago Area.
Compensation:- $00base salary
- Up to 35% target bonus
- Excellent benefits 401k PTO etc.
