Job Summary
Position Title: RN Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: New York NY 10016
Type: Contract
Shift: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
Schedule: 3 Days per Week (Approx. 34.5 Hours per Week)
Pay Rate:Up to $2932.50 per Week
Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking RN Cardiac Cath Labfor an exciting job in New York NY.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians and healthcare teams during cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures.
- Manage patient preparation including IV insertion monitoring and post-procedure recovery.
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation per established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with safety quality and regulatory standards.
- Provide patient education and ensure continuity of care throughout the procedure.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of Critical Care nursing experience.
- Proficient in IV insertion and phlebotomy.
- Previous experience with conscious sedation.
- Demonstrated ability to scrub and circulate in a Cardiac Cath Lab environment.
Education & Certifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited institution (required).
- Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification from NYSED).
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (required).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Additional certifications in Cardiac Cath Lab or Critical Care Nursing.
