Account Executive New business

Reporting to:Director of Sales

About The Role:

New Era Technology are looking for A Players to achieve Sales Targets through proactive development of new prospectsworking as part of our International Division you will be based out of our Slough HQ and responsible for selling a range of cloud and technology solutions to UK andGlobalProspects.

Engage daily with potential clients toidentifyneeds and present tailored solutions across our portfolio including:

  • Audio Visual
  • Physical & Cyber Security
  • Digital Transformation
  • Data Networking
  • Unified Communications
  • Cloud Managed & Professional Services

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Cultivate enterprise-wide relationship with enduser prospectsto generate new business opportunities across multiple contactsand regions.
  • Generate new business; you are in daily contact with potential end userprospects.
  • Guide prospects through their buying journey. Present and sell solutions across several categoriesleveragingthe wider capabilities of New Era Technology.
  • Uncover your prospects strategy goals andobjectivesand provide solutions to meet and exceed their requirements.
  • Effective pipeline management and forecasting with clearly defined next steps and actions.
  • Maintainaccurateand up-to-date customer information and sales activity in CRM tool.
  • Effectively present information to executive management team (Example QBR).
  • Effectively communicate between New Era Divisions and internal stakeholders (i.e. Production Management Engineering Customer Service etc).
  • Represent the Company at trade shows trade association and client meetings to promote solutions.
  • Prospecting / Networking.
  • Generating Proposals in partnership with other teams.
  • Product demonstrations (on-site and off-site).
  • Completing all required sales reports and business plans.
  • Attending weekly sales meetings.
  • Provide customer support and service to allprospects.

SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Work and team with colleagues outline clear next stepsactionsand owners.
  • Participate in companywide projects & promotion (trade shows etc).

Required skills and experience:

  • An experienced proactive energetic self-starter with an established skill set in solution selling with a solid understandingof thecustomer buyingcycle.
  • Proven history of performance in developing andmaintainingstrong customerrelationships at the enterprise level including competence and confidence in presentingat the Director VP and C-level.
  • Excellent networking presentation and communications skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including a strong familiarity with the Microsoft Platform and understanding of technology trends and solutions within the unified communications marketplace.
