BlackRocks Global Accounting and Product Services (GAAPS) supports over $200B in private market assets globally. The Alternatives Operations team enables dynamic investment strategies across private equity real estate hedge funds commodities and structured products. Our integrated approach leverages BlackRocks strengths in risk management product development client service and operational excellence.
Team Overview
The Global Alternatives Transactions Services (GATS) team in Mumbai is part of the broader Global Alternatives Operations group. The team provides end-to-end middle office support for alternative investments including trade capture settlement and data dissemination to downstream systems.
Key Responsibilities
Support transaction data management for alternative products by reviewing legal documents and third-party notices.
Assist in onboarding processes for new investments including trade lifecycle and cash management workflows.
Perform reconciliations of cash and assets between internal systems and custodians.
Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to exchange product and asset data.
Maintain process documentation and assist in updating control frameworks.
Participate in team initiatives and cross-functional projects.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
Experience: 03 years in operations data management accounting or administration preferably with exposure to alternative investment funds.
Skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Basic understanding of alternative investment products such as hedge funds and private equity.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
