Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst / Scrum Master with a strong focus on delivery and modern cloud technologies to join our Compliance Technology team.

You will work on designing technology solutions managing large-scale data platforms and leading agile delivery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft comprehensive business functional and technical requirements documents as well as test and implementation plans.
Conduct large-scale data and systems analysis to design technology solutions addressing business challenges.
Support the migration of analytics platforms to the cloud focusing on data modeling and extraction processes.
Analyze ingested data select appropriate data models and design robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
Interpret complex requirements and deliver high-quality solutions for GCORC (formerly GCRG) considering cross-component dependencies.
Collect analyze and visualize large datasets to implement data-driven solutions.
Collaborate with business stakeholders cross-functional teams and support organizations to resolve obstacles and drive progress.
Coordinate with stakeholders to understand end-to-end data flows identify error drivers and perform root cause analysis.
Serve as Scrum Master facilitating ceremonies such as daily standups sprint planning reviews backlog grooming retrospectives and reporting (e.g. sprint burndowns/burnups).
Develop and manage the Scrum sprint backlog (epics stories etc.) using Git and promote best Agile practices in test and release management.
Assist the Tech Lead with ECMS SERA and other UBS process-related documentation.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science or related field.
Minimum of 5 years experience in software delivery within large-scale IT projects.
Expertise as an Analyst Developer or Technical Analyst including hands-on data modeling and solution design.
Experience with large-scale IT development projects particularly Cloud technologies (Microsoft Azure ADLS Spark SQL Databricks-advantageous).
Strong skills in data analysis including the ability to run complex SQL queries.
At least 2 years of experience with Scrum ideally as a Scrum Master.
Experience with relevant tools such as GitLab Confluence and Squash.
Strong analytical problem-solving and synthesis skills.
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
Flexible resilient team player with strong interpersonal skills and initiative.
Business knowledge in compliance and risk management with interest in understanding the business context behind data and technology solutions.

Preferred Skills:

Additional certifications or hands-on experience in cloud technologies or data platforms.
Familiarity with Agile best practices and tools.

Team Overview:

You will be part of a young expanding Data Analytics & Reporting team within the Compliance Technology function. The team delivers Data Reporting and Analytics solutions on top of a big data platform and collaborates closely with business teams and other engineering teams to ensure high-quality outcomes.
