We are seeking aSenior Officer-Water Qualityto support the regionaloperation of the Water Corporations Drinking Water and Wastewater Quality Management Framework.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity based in our Northam office from5th January 2026 and will report to the Team Leader Operations Services.
What you can expect from this role:
Support the Technical Advisor - Water Quality in the implementation of the Drinking Water Quality Management Framework using a Catchment to Tap approach.
Support the Technical Advisor - Waste Water Quality to administer Wastewater Quality Management system.
Support the Incident Manager in responding to Drinking Water Quality Incidents.
Support water quality investigations site inspections water safety plan development and Drinking Water Quality process audits.
Support regional input into the water resource licensing process.
Support reviews of Drinking Water Quality process and implementation of agreed improvements.
Liaises with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Key Skills & Experience:
Tertiary qualification in engineering or science and considerable experience in regulatory compliance drinking water quality and catchment management.
OR
Substantial experience in regulatory compliance quality assurance and information systems.
Good process management skills.
Knowledge of the requirements of the 2004 Australian Drinking Water Guidelines.
Knowledge of risk assessment processes.
Stakeholder management and liaison skills.
Advanced interpersonal communication and written skills.
Experience in drinking water quality and water supply operations is desirable.
Experience in Wastewater Quality management.
