Motion & Flow Control (MFCP) is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner to support the growing business and report directly to the VP of HR. This individual will serve as the lead business partner for the organization and lead the Generalists. A passion for establishing strong partnerships solving business challenges building an inclusive culture and contributing to an impactful HR strategy is essential. This role is responsible for driving and influencing the HR strategy to support a fast-growing business through effective organizational design employee relations performance & talent management and coaching leaders and employees. This leader is critical in providing consistent guidance that fosters a productive and supportive culture.

Primary Duties:

  • Serve as a trusted business partner advisor and coach to senior leaders.
  • Further develop the business partner/generalist team ensuring that the high standards within the team are developed and maintained.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and leaders to solve complex problems from critical organizational and people issues to culture and change management.
  • Partner and collaborate effectively with all functions on the HR team to create a cohesive employee experience.
  • Partner with leaders and our internal HR team in building organizations for the future including development of key leadership talent.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective thorough and objective investigations.
  • Provide guidance coaching and input on organizational restructuring workforce and succession planning.
  • Be an advocate and role model for MFCPs culture and values.
  • Design and implement effective change management and communications for HR initiatives.
  • Be proactive and take initiative: Get ahead of problems by anticipating them and improve processes to further mature the teams ways of working.
  • Use data to make decisions.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work both tactically and strategically to meet business needs.
  • Ability to remain flexible and agile in an ever-changing environment along with a willingness to learn.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10 years of HR Business Partner experience in roles of increasing complexity and scope partnering directly with senior leaders
  • 2-5 years of experience in a manager or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership influencing and collaboration skills
  • Ability to develop trusting relationships with employees at all levels of the organization in order to gain support and achieve results.
  • Ability to take initiative to identify and anticipate client needs and make recommendations for implementation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to relate to people at all levels.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential information.
  • Highly knowledgeable in managing employee relations and investigations.
  • Strong presentation & facilitation skills with the capability of delivering presentations to any size group.
  • Capable of embracing change and new ideas.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel up to 30%.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Work is generally completed in an office environment. Frequent sitting computer work and phone use are required with occasional walking standing bending and lifting up to 20 pounds. $98400 - $111800 DOE
