The Parents Estate Planning Law Firm in Acton MA is an estate planning firm focused on the estate planning needs of young families and empty nesters. We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning excellent communication skills and an interest in helping young families navigate the complexities of planning for their childrens futures. We are not your typical estate planning firm! Because we work exclusively with young families and empty nesters we put very different plans into place.

The attorney we hire will feel strongly about our mission to create legal plans for parents so that their children know they were loved cared for and protected. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients developing customized estate plans and providing guidance on related matters.

We present educational workshops within the community and would like someone who is interested in educating young families and empty nesters on the importance of planning before a crisis.

• Work directly with clients to create tailored comprehensive estate plans and trust documents to meet the unique needs of families with young children.
• Help parents develop comprehensive guardianship plans for their minor children.
• Draft review and finalize estate planning documents.
• Assist in the administration of trusts.
• Present educational workshops and webinars to the community which involve after-hours events 1 or 2 times/month.
• Meet and network with financial advisors accountants and other professionals to develop cross-referral opportunities.
• Supervise and delegate work to Paralegals to accomplish tasks in a timely manner.
• Work directly with the Firm owner and the legal team to develop and modify processes and procedures that ensure a smooth workflow.

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estate planning.
• Admitted to practice law in Massachusetts.
• Admitted to practice law in New Hampshire is a strong plus.
• Experience designing and drafting comprehensive estate plans including revocable and irrevocable trusts.
• Experience with asset protection planning.
• Experience with trust and estate administration is a strong plus.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office environments HubSpot is a plus.
• Experience drafting estate plans on a software-based platform (especially Inter Active Legal or Wealth Docx) is a strong plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Compassionate and client-focused with strong communication skills.
