KEY RESPONSIBILITES
- Lead and manage the airfreight department (export import airport operations and customer service teams).
- Lead and optimize capacity planning and allocation to enhance charter flight utilization and operational efficiency.
- Drive operational excellence enhance process efficiency manage exceptions and escalations and ensure continuous improvement and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and analyse airfreight performance reports to track shipment volume and revenue while monitoring key metrics to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Maintain strong relationship with Airlines GSAs Ground Handlers (BFS and TG) and Airport authorities (TAPA CAAT and AOT).
- Support the commercial and sales teams in joint customer meeting and business development initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to IATA RA3 AEO TAPA C-TPAT and other safety or security regulations.
- Manage manpower planning staff training and performance evaluations.
- Identify mentor and develop team members while implementing succession planning to build strong and capable operations team.
- Develop and monitor departmental budget revenue targets and cost control.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 7-10 years in airfreight operations experience in freight forwarding including team management and development.
- Strong understanding of international air cargo operations including export and import airfreight processes documentation customs regulations and industry best practices.
- Exceptional communication analytical problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic fast-paced and high- pressure environment.
- Strong in people Management skill and team management
- English skill in business level
